Over three decades ago, Dr. Tran Nguyen Thy Binh overcame countless challenges to pursue her lifelong dream: bringing a U.S.-standard education to Vietnamese youth. From the very first foundations laid in the 1990s, APU American International Schools was officially established in Ho Chi Minh City in 2003, before expanding its presence to Da Nang City in 2015.

Beyond K-12 education, APU Educational Development Group further elevated higher education in Vietnam by founding the American University in Vietnam - AUV, a university that fully embodies the values and academic standards of the United States.
