Service learning is a key component in the APU curriculum. In our commitment to develop empathetic community leaders, APU makes community service a requirement for graduation. Service learning is essential in developing leadership skills for the 21st century.
Previous Service Learning Initiatives:
Student governance develops leadership skills and gives students a voice in managing school affairs. The student council organizes service learning activities, coordinates social functions, and provides a voice for concerns regarding student life.
Students have formed many clubs over the years that allow them to pursue their unique interests and to socialize under the guidance of a faculty member. Student clubs are an essential part of the APU experience.
