APU American International Schools is licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training to teach the US program to Vietnamese students and foreign students in Vietnam. The program at APU is a system with strong connections between the knowledge and skills required for students from kindergarten to grade 12 so that after graduating from high school, students can be successful in any university environment in the world, most notably in the United States. Upon graduation from high school, APU graduates are directly admitted to prestigious universities around the world without the need for IETLS/SAT/ACT or the IB Diploma Programme; including schools in the US such as the University of California System (UC - Berkeley, UC - Davis, UC - Irvine), FIT, VCU, CMU, ASU, UMKC, California State University, CWU, in Canada such as University of British Columbia, in Korea such as Korea University, Yonsei University, and in Australia such as University of Sydney (Unconditional offer of admission), Australian National University….In addition, The American University in Vietnam - AUV students can complete a 3-4 year bachelor's degree (BA, BS) at AUV and be supported directly into the master's program (MA, MS) of prestigious universities without the need to demonstrate GRE & GMAT entrance scores.
Every year, 90% of former APU students who study abroad at prestigious universities around the world, most notably in the United States, achieve outstanding results from the first semester and are ranked on the Dean's List.
In addition to the Credit Accumulation Program that allows students to shorten the time to complete their undergraduate studies in the United States, thereby reducing many other costs, APU American International Schools also encourages students to enroll in the College Bridge Program - Dual Enrollment Program, which is only available at APU. This special program is designed by APU Educational Development Group and prestigious partner universities in the United States. After graduating from high school, students only need about two years to complete their bachelor's degree at prestigious universities in the United States. This is a special advantage only for APU students, because if students from high schools other than APU want to participate in this program, they must have a SAT score of over 90% to be accepted.
