The ceremony was organized with solemnity in a standard American style, with the presence of representatives from educational authorities, media agencies, domestic and international guests, esteemed teachers, parents, and all graduating students of the 2025 academic year.
Within the program's framework, the emotional and meaningful speeches from the school leaders, representatives of the Ministry of Education & Training, parent representatives, and graduating student representatives contributed to an inspiring ceremony. Notably, the presence of APU alumni – who are now successful Masters, Doctors, Dentists, and Entrepreneurs in the United States – brought immense pride and served as living proof of the school's quality of education.
Unable to conceal her emotion, Dr. Tran Nguyen Thy Binh – Founder & Chair Of Boards of Directors & Management Of APU Educational Development Group – extended her heartfelt congratulations and profound encouragement to the students, expressing her belief in the brilliant future journey they will continue to write with their talent, effort, and global integration spirit.
At the 2024–2025 Graduation Ceremony, APU American International Schools celebrated 95 high school graduates, with an impressive 90% achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher – a clear testament to the institution's exceptional educational quality. Notably, 23 students achieved a perfect GPA of 4.0, including 2 Valedictorians and 8 Salutatorians. All graduating students demonstrated good conduct, excellent academic performance, and possessed outstanding extracurricular profiles.
These impressive academic achievements have unlocked prestigious scholarship opportunities from prestigious universities in the United States and worldwide, totaling over $28 million USD. Many of these students – especially the Valedictorians and Salutatorians with GPAs above 4.0 – have received full scholarships worth up to more than $130,000 USD each. The scholarship list continues to be updated by reputable universities around the globe.
This year, APU also recognized 28 eleventh-grade students who achieved excellent GPAs and qualified for early graduation. This result not only demonstrates the ability to shorten their learning journey by 1 to 2 years but also affirms the effectiveness and superiority of the American standard education program at APU – where students are equipped with a solid foundational knowledge, excellent academic skills, and the confidence for international integration. With such comprehensive preparation, APU students consistently appear on the Dean's List, recognized for outstanding achievements from their very first years of university. Even more remarkably, many have been selected as teaching assistants for professors at renowned universities – despite being only first or second-year students – a rare accomplishment that showcases the outstanding potential of APU's young generation on their journey to conquer the peaks of global knowledge.
Through the annual Scholarship Program, 100% of graduating students from the APU American International Schools receive valuable scholarship offers from prestigious universities in the USA, Canada, and Australia, such as the UC (University of California) system includes: UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Riverside, UC Merced, and UC Santa Cruz, New York University, University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, Cal State Long Beach, Arizona State University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Florida Institute of Technology, UMKC, SDSU, Wentworth Institute of Technology, The American University in Vietnam, Central Michigan University, University of Connecticut, University of Washington, University of Illinois, University of Massachusetts, The The University of Sydney,… This "golden ticket" helps students realize their dreams of studying abroad in world-leading educational environments after completing high school.

At the graduation ceremony, the Representative of the Ministry of Education and Training, who was in attendance, extended warm congratulations to APU American International Schools and the American University in Vietnam (AUV) for a successful and remarkable academic year.
Annually, 90% of APU alumni studying abroad at prestigious universities worldwide, particularly in the United States, achieve outstanding academic results right from their first semester and are recognized on the Dean's List. These remarkable achievements serve as clear evidence of the superior academic foundation that APU has built – a well-structured and comprehensive international standard curriculum, providing students with a solid foundation to step out into the world. This is also a source of immense pride for the entire school community, reflecting the trust and unwavering support from parents over the past 25 years – those who have entrusted their children's future to APU.
Alongside an integrated curriculum that facilitates early credit accumulation, shortens the time to complete a Bachelor's degree in the United States, and significantly reduces overseas study costs, APU is also the only education system implementing the College Bridge Program – Dual Enrollment Program. This unique program, exclusive to APU, is designed by the APU Educational Development Group in collaboration with prestigious partner universities in the United States. As a result, APU students can complete their Bachelor's degree in approximately two years after graduating high school. Notably, this is a privilege exclusively for APU students – because for students from other high schools wishing to participate in this program, a mandatory SAT score above the 90th percentile is required for consideration. It is precisely these strategic and innovative steps in education that have shaped APU's unique identity – a place that constantly innovates to broaden the gateway to a global future for generations of Vietnamese students.
APU American International Schools is officially licensed by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training to teach the standard American curriculum to both Vietnamese and international students residing in Vietnam. From kindergarten to grade 12, the academic program at APU is meticulously and scientifically designed with a cohesive and sequential system. This approach ensures that students develop comprehensive knowledge and essential skills, enabling them to confidently enter any prestigious university worldwide, particularly in the United States.
APU graduates can gain direct admission to top-tier universities without needing IELTS, SAT, ACT scores, or an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. Notable examples include the University of California system (UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Irvine), FIT, VCU, CMU, ASU, UMKC, California State University, CWU (USA); University of British Columbia (Canada); Korea University, Yonsei University (South Korea); University of Sydney, Australian National University (Australia) – with many even issuing Unconditional Offers of Admission.
For students of the American University in Vietnam (AUV), the academic pathway is even further shortened as they can complete their Bachelor's degrees (BA, BS) right at AUV within 3 to 4 years and then directly proceed to Master's programs (MA, MS) at prestigious international universities without needing to submit GRE or GMAT scores.
APU American International Schools is also proud to be a member and quality-accredited by two of the most prestigious global educational organizations: Cognia™ and the Council of International Schools (CIS). This is the result of a rigorous evaluation across all aspects – from the curriculum, teaching staff, quality of graduates, to extracurricular activities, academic support services, and partnerships with international universities.
Notably, coinciding with its 30th anniversary, APU Educational Development Group will officially launch the American Education Urban Village Project in the Southern Key Economic Region – a significant leap forward, marking a brilliant new chapter in its journey of developing American-standard education in Vietnam.
