On 20 May 2018, all graduating students from both APU campuses in HCMC and Danang gathered at City Opera House HCMC to mark the most important milestone of their academic career-graduation. Graduation is a proud event in which students and parents will look remember fondly as they move forward to even brighter futures.

“And on your way ahead, be confident, do not be afraid of anything, because we are APU’s well-trained eagles, remember?” Banh Thu Hoa, Class of 2018 Valedictorian said with pride.

This event also honors students who accomplished outstanding academic achievements while at APU. A total of 92 students were awarded scholarships for their academic achievements totaling over 4 million dollars in APU student scholarships. Three of our graduates were honored to receive full scholarships to prestigious universities in the U.S. These students will continue their higher education by attending world renowned universities such as Arizona State University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and University of Missouri Kansas City among many other universities.

“I hope you, Class of 2018, will continue the APU legacy. Many of you seniors have achievements to be proud of like scholarships for prestigious universities in the U.S. and the world. Life is a long journey, enjoy every bit of it and remember, you are not alone – your APU family is always here with you. I’m just one call away.” Dr. Binh Tran, APU superintendent, reminded her students, before they set out on a new exciting chapter in their lives.
