APU American International School was founded in 2004 with its first campus in Ho Chi Minh City. Following the success of the Ho Chi Minh City campus, APU has expanded to include the APU American International School in Da Nang in 2015, with a campus size of over 31 hectares.
And not stopping at the primary and secondary education level, the APU Educational Development Group has raised the quality of university education in Vietnam by establishing the American University in Vietnam - AUV with campuses in Da Nang and, in the near future, a new, modern campus in southern Vietnam.
In addition, to meet the diverse learning needs, conditions, and aspirations of students, APU American International School has opened a Bilingual program since the 2020-2021 school year in Da Nang, teaching two Vietnamese-American programs, creating the most favorable conditions for students to easily develop their talents and absorb knowledge and culture of Vietnam as well as the United States at a reasonable cost while still ensuring standard training quality and smooth access to prestigious universities around the world.
APU is the first and only international school in Vietnam to be licensed by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and the US education authorities to teach the US education program to Vietnamese students and foreign students living in Vietnam.
In addition to studying AP programs, where APU is a testing center under the College Board organization, students are encouraged to participate in the College Bridge Program - APU linked with prestigious universities in the US, unique to APU.
This program provides maximum benefits to APU students by helping them earn transcripts that include college credits from prestigious universities in the United States while they are still completing their high school education at APU, thereby shortening their college time in the United States by up to two years and making it easier to receive scholarships from top universities in the United States, Canada, and around the world.
