AN INTRODUCTION TO UMKC WORKSHOPS

Delegates from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) held a workshop on September 29, 2014 introducing APU students to the university as well as their Dual Enrollment Program. There are 55 high schools in the US, along with APU, the only International School in Asia, who participate in this program.

Through UMKC, highly motivated APU students can earn college credit while still in high school. Upper division students with a 3.0 GPA or higher can be enrolled at a prestigious US university while studying at APU. Students benefit from college-level courses, a university transcript for those courses, and access to the same resources provided to UMKC students in the US. This program is unique in Vietnam and only available to students at APU.
