VALEDICTORIAN TRAN XUAN KHANH LINH (LYNN PAPERNY) - THE MULTITALENTED PRESIDENT OF APU STUDENT COUNCIL 2024

Tran Xuan Khanh Linh has made a remarkable mark at APU American International School, earning the title of Valedictorian of the Class of 2024 and demonstrating her readiness to embark on a journey of intellectual conquest at a prestigious university around the world!

 

 

Throughout her academic years, Linh has consistently maintained a high standard of excellence, showcasing her passion and unwavering dedication, leading to resounding success: scholarships totaling nearly $530,000 from top-ranked universities in the United States such as Arizona State University (ASU), Central Michigan University (CMU), Florida Institute of Technology (FIT), University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC), and the "golden ticket" to the University of California - UC Berkeley (UC Berkeley) - ranked #1 among public universities and #15 among national universities in the 2024 "Best Colleges" ranking by U.S. News & World Report. This achievement will fuel Linh's aspirations to pursue knowledge in Economics and Finance in the field of Business - Leadership and Management.

 

From the shy girl who first stepped foot on APU's campus, Khanh Linh has quickly transformed into a skilled leader and a "busy bee" in the school's extracurricular activities, serving as the Manager of the APU Men's Basketball Team, Vice President of the APU Student Council for the 2022-2023 school year, and President of the APU Student Council for the 2023-2024 school year.

 

As the talented leader of the APU Student Council for the 2023-2024 academic year, Linh is not only academically gifted but also possesses a warm heart and diverse talents. Under Linh's leadership, the APU Student Council has successfully organized meaningful community-oriented programs such as the "We care, we share" charity program - sharing love with those in need, and the charity program to help children affected by Agent Orange.

 

In addition, Linh is a responsible "global citizen" who regularly participates in beach cleaning activities, contributing to protecting the environment and making it green, clean, and beautiful.

 

The energetic valedictorian - Khanh Linh - is not afraid to conquer any field: Transforming into a talented team manager, organizing fierce practice matches between the APU basketball team and international schools. And that's not all! Linh also has a passion for sports and arts such as tennis, golf, piano, singing, and more. She affirms that taking on important roles and responsibilities early on has equipped her with the skills to manage, work in teams, and manage her time effectively to balance her studies and fulfill her extracurricular responsibilities.

 

Standing on the podium to deliver the valedictorian speech on behalf of the graduating class of 2024, Linh had an emotional moment when she expressed her sincere gratitude to APU, Dr. Tran Nguyen Thy Binh, her teachers, and her classmates who have guided and accompanied her throughout her years of study here.

 

When asked what she will remember most about APU, it was the moment when her friends and teachers cheered her name wildly during her student council election speech. That moment of bursting happiness and the spirit of unity and camaraderie within the APU community is the baggage that Linh will carry with her throughout her long journey ahead.
